Operation Spacehog

Operation Spacehog is a debut studio album by the American alternative rock band Operation Spacehog. The album was released in 1995 by RCA Records and features a fusion of various genres including psychedelic rock, glam rock, and experimental rock.

The album opens with the track "In The Meantime" which became the band's biggest hit, reaching number 1 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart. The song's distinctive guitar riff and catchy chorus helped establish Operation Spacehog as an emerging force in the 90s alternative rock scene.

The album's other tracks showcase the band's versatility, with songs like "Space Is The Place" featuring a funky bassline and "Cruel To Be Kind" exhibiting a more introspective side of the band's songwriting. The use of electronic elements throughout the album adds to its experimental flavor.
